Zoe is a sporty 29-year-old who loves the outdoors and taking long walks. She’s a really outgoing person who loves to try new things. She’s also quite adventurous and she loves trying new cuisines, especially Indian food.
1. Parks and Places for a Walk
Zoe might enjoy taking her date for a walk in the beautiful park of Greyfriars. It’s a great spot for a leisurely stroll as it has historic buildings, monuments and gardens to explore. The park also has a great view of the surrounding hills. Or why not take a walk around the historic city walls in the centre of town. There are many attractions to see along the way, such as the Guildhall and many other iconic buildings.
2. Places for a Coffee Date
If Zoe and her date would rather stay indoors, a great place for a coffee date would be The Old Weigh House. This quirky, cosy cafe has great coffee and even better food, plus they provide boardgames if they want to take the evening to the next level. Or, why not take a trip to the Pannier Market, where they can find something to eat while they take in the atmosphere of the place and enjoy some delicious coffee.
3. Galleries, Museums and Exhibitions
Zoe and her date could spend a day exploring the intriguing sights and sounds at the Royal Cornwall Museum. With its vast collection of historical artefacts and contemporary art, the museum is a great place to explore and also learn more about the history of the area. Or why not visit the Penlee House Art Gallery and Museum, which features a variety of exhibitions from contemporary art to traditional arts and crafts.
4. Live Music and Entertainment
Zoe and her date could check out some live music at The Driftwood Spars Brew Pub. They often have live gigs from local acts, and the pub also has an outdoor patio where they can enjoy some drinks and take in the great atmosphere. For some laughs, they could go to the Harbour Comedy Club, where they can see some stand up comedians and laugh until their hearts are content.
5. Pubs, Bars or Restaurants
If Zoe and her date choose to go out for a drink, they could go to The Old Inn. This rustic pub is the perfect spot for a beer or two, and they can tuck into some delicious pub grub while they’re there. Or, they could head to the Boho Beach Bar, where they can find a selection of cocktails and beers, and also enjoy some great views of the beach.
6. Other Date Ideas
If Zoe and her date are feeling up for an adventure, they could check out some of the local trails in the area. There are plenty of trails around, from easy walks to more challenging hikes, so they can find one that suits their level of fitness. Or, why not take a trip to the Monkey Sanctuary, where they can take a thrilling zip line tour through the grounds and get up close with some of the resident monkeys.
