Rules of how to get a date and then get a second date

Date rule no 1
What is a date and how to get one
A date is when you spend time interacting with someone…that’s it…no big deal…at least it doesn’t
need to be.

An obvious date is when two people say ‘lets go on a date’ and then they do.
If that sounds too scary to you then don’t mention the word date…try ‘hey…I’m hungry, fancy
sharing a pizza?’, ‘hey…need to stretch my legs, fancy a walk ?’, ‘hey…I need a coffee, fancy keeping
me company and sharing a croissant?’
A great way to approach dating is not to expect anything apart from enjoying time with a new friend.
So practice being nice to family, friends, male or female people you meet…’Hey…lets go get some
pizza…and chat’.

So you can suggest a date to anyone…’If the waiter suggests a good restaurant…you can say I’d love
to try the restaurant you suggested…why don’t we go together so I get to try the good food you are
talking about’…the person suggesting a book…’may I get you a coffee so you can tell me more about
why I should read the book you are recommending…’

Date rule no 2
Be nice - Make an effort so after the date you both enjoyed the moment
Regardless of who turns up be nice and enjoy the moment, even if you don’t fancy her now…you
may once you get to know her. And you never know she may have a great hot sister or friend…but
frankly just be nice anyway. Very rarely a date may be unpleasant and in this case make an excuse
and leave…don’t waste your time, energy or get involved in their drama.

Date Rule no 3
Get to know each other - Use the time, food, activity to get to know each other…it’s not about eating
the chips…its about sharing the chips and having a laugh
Do tell your stories AND do LISTEN
Do be enthusiastic with your body language AND do watch the OTHER person’s body language to
check they are enjoying your company
Do be nice, make compliments AND ACCEPT them with a THAN YOU
Be yourself…you can’t be anyone else for long and they may actually like you

Date Rule no 4
Don’t get FRIEND ZONED (unless that’s what you want)
This means do something to SMASH the friendship zone leaving it clear that you are looking for
romance and want another date
This means taking it to the next level before the date is over which depending on who you are could
be;
Touching hands
A polite kiss
A sexy kiss
Kissing and touching boobies
Take him/her home and have sex
Or even give him/her a set of keys and start discussing baby names

So how do we know when to go for that hand hold, head lock or kiss ?
There is a safe technique which says pay attention for 3 positive indicators of your date’s interest or
acceptance of closeness to you eg;
Touching own hair
Smiles
Complimenting you
Laughing at your jokes
Looking into eyes and holding eye contact
Being close eg heads, knees, elbows close or touching
Comfortable with touch, hold hands, bump hips or use napkin to wipe food off chin

Date Rule no 5
How to safely go for the first kiss and get that second date
Once you have counted three Interest Indicators and a natural moment, calmness is present then
lean in three quarters of the way towards your date but let the other person come to you for the
final quarter. Then make sure you know how to give great kisses. If you want to nudge up to cuddles
etc do what feels right for BOTH of you…but its not a race so enjoy whatever happens. Bad kissers
don’t get second dates so learn to kiss.
No bad breath
No slobbering

Move head slowly so no accidents with glasses, noses, teeth
Be playful but not in his/her face too much (don’t over do tongue in mouth)
Kissing is an art so learn and you will be invited back and to the next level

If you feel you made your move too soon say ‘Sorry for moving too fast…I promise to take it slower
on our next date’…if you get approval for the next date…you are forgiven and it wasn’t too fast after
all.
