Knighton is a small market town in the Welsh County of Powys. It has a population of just under 3,500 people and is surrounded by lush green countryside. The Bell is a great spot for gastropub food and craft beers, while the Star Inn is known for its traditional Welsh cuisine. For a romantic dinner, try the Dragon's Rest or the Wyndham Arms.
If you’re looking for something a bit out of the ordinary, Knighton has plenty of other options too. Why not take a picnic to the nearby Knucklas Viaduct and watch the trains go by? Or, if you’re feeling brave, head to the Activity Wales Centre and have a go at kayaking, abseiling or laser tag. For something a bit more relaxed, take a stroll around the Offa's Dyke Path and take in the stunning views.
